EAGLE 2 - New data collection window announced
EAGLE 2 is a snapshot audit of patients undergoing right sided bowel anastomosis but restricted to units who undertake the EAGLE online training. Data collection opened in June, and more than 1000 patients from 171 hospitals have been entered into the study so far.
Registration is still open to new hospital by completing the registration form, you do not have to have participated in EAGLE 1 to take part in EAGLE 2.
A new (third) data collection window will open in September, sites wishing to take part in Data Collection Window 3 can choose their own start date between 09th and 22nd September. They should then collect all eligible cases for 8-weeks and include 30-day follow-up for each patient.
