New Trials Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submissions are invited relating to trials that are either new or ongoing but which require further recruitment on a national or international basis. Studies presented can be in any area of colorectal surgery but must be prospective and involve multiple centres. They can be of any format including randomised trials and large-scale observational projects, and do not need to have started recruitment at the time of presentation in September.
Projects should be open to potential new centres to get involved (nationally or internationally) and at a stage where the discussions and feedback can be incorporated into improving the project.
The best trials will be selected on merit for presentation of protocol during the session. Presentations will be reviewed by a panel of experts. The best new trial presentation will receive a prize of €300 awarded by ESCP.
