American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS)
ESCP has a close relationship with the ASCRS, and welcomes its President to our scientific meeting each year for the ASCRS Lecture. We also have a reciprocal opportunity where Visiting Fellows from both our countries attend and present at our annual meetings.
Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI)
ACPGBI is a group of 1000+ surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals who advance the knowledge and treatment of bowel diseases in Britain and Ireland.
Chinese Society of Colorectal Surgery
ESCP is very pleased to have been collaborating with the Chinese Society of Colorectal Surgery on its Global Reach programme since 2020.
Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ)
CSSANZ represents specialist colorectal surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. CSSANZ is the governing body of the CSSANZ Foundation, Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery, and the Binational Colorectal Cancer Audit.
European Board of Surgery Qualification (EBSQ)
ESCP has a close relationship with the EBSQ, Division of Coloproctology, and is represented in their committee. Surgeons can take the EBSQ examination in coloproctology at our annual scientific meeting.
European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO)
ECCO was founded in 2001 to improve the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in Europe. It is now the largest forum for specialists in IBD in the world.
European Hereditary Tumour Group (EHTG)
EHTG was originally founded in 2006 as the Mallorca Group. It aims to conduct collaborative studies, establish guidelines and to set up databases to increase our understanding of hereditary tumour syndromes.
European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO)
ESCP is affiliated to ESSO, the umbrella organisation for all cancer surgeons in Europe. Our members benefit from discounted registration rates for ESSO Congress, ESSO courses and the European Multidisciplinary Cancer congress, as well as access to the ESSO training fellowship scheme.
Japan Society of Coloproctology (JSCP)
ESCP is very pleased to have had a reciprocal Travelling Fellowship with the JSCP since 2008.
Korean Society of Coloproctology
Established in 1967, the Korean Society of Coloproctology aims to promote research and development of coloanal studies and promote friendship between members of the association.
Tripartite Colorectal Meeting
ESCP participates in the triennial Tripartite Colorectal meeting along with the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Colorectal Society of Australasia and New Zealand, the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland and the Section of Coloproctology of the Royal Society of Medicine. The next Tripartite meeting takes place in New Zealand in February 2022.
United European Gastroenterology (UEG)
As the specialist association representing coloproctology in Europe, ESCP is a privileged body within UEG. We participate in its scientific and educational activities and partner in the UEG annual meeting.
