ESCP Research Committee will formally launch this new and exciting initiative at the 2017 meeting in Berlin.
If you have a proposal –
The research committee will review all proposals for launching in Berlin. Priority will be given to ideas that have the following general characteristics:
- A disease that is common and poses a societal burden
- A procedure (or procedures) that are performed commonly across multiple European countries
- A procedure (or procedures) that have uncertain evidence base especially in respect to longer term patient outcomes e.g. Quality of Life or functional status
- A procedure (or procedures) that would be difficult to evaluate in a randomised trial design due to reasons of equipoise, valid comparator, cost etc.
