Colorectal Cancer Surgery and Quality of Life Research: Insights by Dr Marylise Boutros

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and ESCP launched a series of interviews with international experts on colorectal cancer. As part of this series, Zoe Garoufalia recently spoke with Dr Marylise Boutros to give her insights on research for quality of life after colorectal cancer surgery.

Dr Marylise Boutros is a Staff Colorectal Surgeon at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital (JGH) and Associate Professor of Surgery at McGill University, in Montreal, Canada. Dr Boutros is the Program Director of the Colorectal Surgery Residency at McGill and also leads the JGH-McGill Colon & Rectal Surgery Outcomes Research Program that is focused on innovation and outcomes research.
