The city was founded in 158-138 BC by Attalus II, King of Pergamon, who named the city Attaleia after himself. You can reach this historic city with a short haul flight from anywhere in Europe as the airport has direct flights to almost all European cities. The masterclass is being hosted at a hotel just 35 km from the airport.
