ESCP is dedicating June and July to colorectal surgery training and accreditation. We are interviewing experts and educators from around the world, aiming to assess current colorectal training status globally, highlighting pros and cons, and identifying sustainable pathways for improvement.
Professor Dieter Hahnloser is the Head of Colorectal Surgery and Proctology at University Hospital Lausanne, Switzerland (since 2012) and UEMS Chair of the Coloproctology Section, UEG Council Member, President of ESSAT and member of the ESCP education committee. In this interview, he shares his views on current and future educational ESCP activities.
