An Interview with Paulo Kotze
As part of our Colorectal Surgery Education month, Dr Nicolas Avellaneda recently spoke to Professor Paulo Kotze, a colorectal surgeon who specialises in IBD surgery, and is based in Curitiba, Brazil. In this video Prof Kotze discusses Colorectal Surgery Education in Latin America, how he got his surgical education, and how he became involved in academic surgery. He also offers advice to young surgeons on how to grow their skills, and how important mentors are.
