Paul-Antoine Lehur, chair of the regional events working group, discusses ESCP’s 7th Regional Masterclass on Reoperative Colorectal Surgery which is set to take place in Antalya, Turkey in spring 2019.
On the 13 April 2019, ESCP will be running its 7th regional masterclass in conjunction with the National Meeting of the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery which will focus on reoperative colorectal and anal surgery. The masterclass will be held at the Regnum Carya Hotel and Convention Center in Antalya, Turkey.
The scientific programme will run over the course of a full day and will cover four key topics:
- Relapse of anal fissure and haemorrhoids
- Anatomic leaks from resection colorectal surgery
- The difficult stoma
- Recurrent rectal cancer
Up to 15 renowned coloproctology experts and chairs from the ESCP and the Turkish Society will be chosen to take part on the behalf of the ESCP Education Committee led by Dieter Hahnloser.
Paul said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for both junior and senior colorectal surgeons to meet and exchange knowledge and best practices in these difficult conditions. Each speaker will be translated from English to Turkish and vice versa which demonstrates the collaborative nature ESCP upholds throughout these sessions. I look forward to welcoming all attendees to Antalya next Spring for what promises to be a highly interactive and insightful programme.”
