Since 2008, ESCP have arranged short visits to centres that are local to the annual conference, with full support from Covidien who provided an educational grant to cover travel expenses and local accommodation. We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of our friend and colleague Jean-Claude Givel, who passed away suddenly on Sunday 23 August 2015. We send our condolences to his family and friends. Jean-Claude was very highly regarded by those of us in ESCP that knew him, and we feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work and spend time with him.
