In Memory of Zoran Krivokapic
We are saddened to inform you of the death of our colleague Professor Dr. Zoran
Krivokapić.
The sad news of Zoran’s passing has left many with an acute feeling of deep loss.
One of the founders of ESCP, he became President in 2011 and opened the Eastern world to the European colorectal surgical community. In 2019, Prof Krivokapić was awarded Honorary Member of the ESCP.
He was an excellent surgeon, a master of surgery for more than a generation in his country and a passionate lecturer in our scientific meetings. Many had the privilege of his friendship and teachings throughout the years of the Society’s consolidation, and enjoyed his competence and warm humanity. He was a dear friend to many of us, and we will not forget his warm empathy and the sense of belonging he was able to create.
We have lost an eminent personality, but there is no doubt his memory and legacy will last forever – not only within ESCP, but in the surgical community around the world.
