Coloproctology Research Month - EAGLE Study
During March and April, we are focusing on coloproctology research in line with the recent Global Reach webinar on Monday 21st March.
The EAGLE study is the first of its kind. It is an international, multi-centre, cluster randomised-sequence study of a 'Safe-anastomosis' Quality Improvement Intervention to reduce anastomotic leak following right colectomy and ileocaecal resection.
In this video, James Keatley - Project Manager for the ESCP EAGLE Study, explains the aim and the key themes of the study, the three components of the intervention, and what has been achieved so far.
EAGLE is still recruiting new hospitals to take part, to find out more and to register please visit the website.
