On Thursday 27 September 2018 at ESCP's Annual Meeting, ESCP President Per Nilsson and Professor Jung Gu Kang, President of the Korean Society of Coloproctology signed a memorandum of understanding, formalising agreement to align the research programmes of the two organisations.
Professor Dion Morton, Chair of ESCP's Research Committee, who has been leading on this for ESCP, explains:
"For the last year I have been working with my research colleagues in the Korean Society of Coloproctology and have started to build a joint research activity. We are now looking to first align ourselves in research and then align ourselves with training and fellowships. I think that this is the beginning of a growing relationship with important professional associations across the world."
