ESCP is delighted to offer two travelling Fellowships to the Far East again for 2018. Applications are invited from young colorectal surgeons to undertake Travelling Fellowships to Japan and Korea to learn from international colleagues in autumn 2018.

About the Fellowships

The two surgeons chosen to have the honour of these fellowships will gain experience of coloproctology practices in an international context. The successful Japanese Fellow will also have the privilege of presenting a paper at the Japan Society of Coloproctology Annual Meeting while the successful Korean Fellowship candidate has the opportunity to present at the International Colorectal Research Summit in Korea.

Both Fellows will receive grants to cover air fares, accommodation close to host centres and conference registrations.

Eligibility

Applicants for both Travelling Fellowships must be:

  • A current, fully paid member of ESCP (i.e. full, trainee etc.) for a minimum of 12 months
  • A senior coloproctology trainee or consultant within five years of appointment
  • Have a manifested interest in coloproctology

The deadline for Korean Fellowship is Friday 20 July and the Japan Fellowship is Friday 10 August.
